MPSC Latest Updates:

  • The MPSC released the latest notification for the State Services Preliminary Examination 2022 on May 11, 2022. The Commission has notified 161 vacancies for various posts. The exam will be conducted at 37 district centres in Maharashtra. Candidates who wish to apply for the upcoming preliminary examination should visit the official website of the MPSC and apply for the exam before the last date.
  • On May 2, 2022, the MPSC published a notification regarding the CSAT paper. Henceforth, the CSAT/Paper II will be a qualifying exam. The minimum qualifying marks for CSAT will be 33%.

MPSC had released the interview schedule for the State Services Main Examination 2020 on its official website. The interview is scheduled between 18th April 2022 and 29th April 2022.

According to the revised schedule announced by MPSC, the Prelims Exam for State Services Exam 2021 which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on January 2, 2022, has been postponed to be conducted on January 23, 2022, due to rising coronavirus cases in the state.

On 27th December 2021, the commission released the official Mains 2020 Answer Key on the official website. The candidates who appeared in the MPSC State Services Main Exam 2020 can download the answer key from the linked article and the last date to submit objections is till 3rd January 2022.

On 22nd December 2021, the MPSC Prelims Admit Card 2021 was released on the official website. The candidates who have registered for the exam and planning to appear in the Prelims Exam which is to be conducted on 2nd January 2022 can download the admit card from the linked article.

A candidate has to clear one stage in order to be eligible for the subsequent stage, i.e, if he/she clears the prelims, he/she moves onto the mains, clearing which he/she would be summoned for the final stage (interview) of the MPSC exam.

On November 10th 2021, it was been decided that MPSC candidates would get a one-year extension for appearing in the exam. This decision was taken considering the lockdown situation due to the novel coronavirus.

Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts MPSC State Services Examination (SSE) annually. In its latest, the Commission has released MPSC Notification 2021 on 4th October.

The Prelims exam was postponed multiple times. Its original date was 5th April 2020 however, it got shifted to 26th April, 13th September, 20th September, 11th October, 14th March and finally to 21st March 2021 (Prelims took place on this date.)

MPSC Mains Examination was scheduled to take place on 2nd and 4th August 2021 however, in the delay of prelims result amid the Covid pandemic, the exam dates are shifted to 4th, 5th and 6th December 2021.

The Interviews for MPSC SSE are scheduled between 18th April 2022 and 26th April 2022.

The State Service Exam or the MPSC Rajyaseva Exam is conducted by the commission to recruit Group A and Group B officers in the various administrative branches of the Maharashtra state government.
