The EPFO Assistant Preliminary Exam 2022 will be an objective examination administered online. The EPFO Assistant Preliminary Test is a computer-based exam that is administered online. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from three sections:

• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Ability
• English

• Each section in the EPFO Assistant Prelims Test 2022 will have its own timing.
• Except for the English section, this EPFO Assistant Prelims test 2022 is bilingual (available in both English and Hindi). 
• There is negative marking for incorrect answers. A quarter of the mark allotted to that question in the EPFO Assistant Prelims Exam 2022 will be deducted for each incorrect response.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for Phase II in a ratio of 1:10, i.e. about 10 times the number of openings in each category, based on their performance in Phase I.
• There is a sectional cut-off as well as the overall cut-off for the prelims exam. 

EPFO Assistant 2022: Mains Exam Pattern

The EPFO Mains exam 2022 will have an online objective examination with 150 questions for 200 marks and a descriptive section with three questions for 30 marks. The EPFO Assistant Descriptive Test (Paper 2) will follow shortly following the online objective test. Each section will have a time limit; once the time limit is reached, candidates will be immediately sent to the next section.

EPFO Assistant 2022 Recruitment: Prelims Syllabus

The EPFO Assistant Recruitment is divided into three stages: Prelims and Mains. The EPFO Assistant Preliminary Test is a computer-based exam that is administered online. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from three sections:
