Every year SSC conducts the Junior Engineer exam in various disciplines like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying and Contracts.
The Staff Selection Commission mentions the detailed SSC JE eligibility in the official notification of the exams. Candidates have to meet the eligibility conditions and basic requirements to appear for the Junior Engineer exam.

The criteria for the age limit depend on the respective post. Candidates who are interested to take the SSC Junior Engineer exam should be of at least 18 years of age and not more than 32 years.
