SSC CHSL is a combined competitive test. SSC CHSL full form is Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam. ANS: SSC CHSL is conducted for recruitment for the following SSC CHSL Posts: Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Sorting Assistant (SA), Postal Assistant (PA), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) posts.
ANSl: The number of vacancies for CHSL usually varies every year. The SSC CHSL vacancy for the year 2021 is approx 4000 and for 2020 the Staff selection Commission released total 4726 vacancies.
ANS: As per the SSC CHSL eligibility criteria, 5 years of relaxation in the age criteria is given to SC/ST candidates. It means that SC/ST candidates between 18 and 32 years of age can apply for the SSC CHSL exam.
ANS: SSC CHSL application fee for General category candidates is Rs 100. Women aspirants and candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
