The candidates not only must have the minimum age of 18 years but also must not be above 24 years of age. The age relaxation is also an added advantage for the candidates applying for this post.

Nationality

IOCL Exam Pattern

IOCL Salary

The Candidates selected for the respective posts of Trade Apprentice in the IOCL will be paid a salary of Pay Matrix Level-5 later. In that case, the salary is prescribed under the Apprentices Act of 1961/1973/Apprentices rule of 1992 as amended and corporation guidelines. Moreover, the details about the salary are explained in the official Notification which will be attached to this post. Therefore please refer to the official notification for more details about the salary.

IOCL Apprentice Salary per Month: Trade Apprentice:

The amount of stipend payable to apprentices per month is prescribed under Apprentices Act 1961/1973/ Apprentices Rules 1992 and Corporation’s guidelines. Initially, the candidates selected for the post of Trade apprentice will get the monthly stipend amount of Rs.10,000/- per month.

IOCL Apprentice Salary per Month: Technician Apprentice:

At the initial stage, the candidates selected for the post of Trade apprentice will get the monthly stipend amount of Rs.12,000- per month.

Leaves & Holidays

The following holidays are allowed for trade/ technician apprentice posts:

  1. General leave: 32 days a year @ 8 days per quarter which also includes the medical leave for a year.
  2. Casual leave: 12 days a year

The leaves that are not used will be expired at the end of the apprenticeship period. However, the apprentice using these holidays are observed in the establishment in which the candidates are undergoing apprenticeship training.
