About MPSC AMVI Exam
This examination takes place in three stages i.e. preliminary examination and main examination. The application for this examination takes place through the online portal of MPSC.
MPSC AMVI Eligibility
All aspirants must be Indian.
Age - MPSC defined the age criteria are as follows -
Minimum Age - 18 Years
Maximum Age - 30 to 43 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules
Education Qualification - Candidates should possess Diploma, Degree (Mechanical / Automobile Engineering)
The candidate must be a Diploma holder (3-year diploma) in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. The following educational qualification can be considered equivalent:
At least one year experience for repair and maintenance of light motor vehicles, heavy cargo vehicles, and heavy passenger vehicles as a full-time employee in Central or State Government Departments or in the institutes under the jurisdiction of the adopted business or in such institutions as may be directed by the Government from time to time as on the last date for submission of application for the main examination as mentioned above.
For the purpose of experience, the experience gained in the above place as a trainee or apprentice may be assumed.
Candidates without any experience will have to gain it for a period of one year during the probation period.
E. Driving License
The candidate must also possess a valid driving license for the category of Motorcycles with Gear, Light Motor Vehicles and Transport Vehicles (Heavy Freight Vehicles & Heavy Passenger Vehicles) as of the last date for mains exam registration.
If the candidate does not possess a license for either Heavy Freight Vehicles or Heavy Passenger Vehicles or both, he/she must gain it during the probation period.
Candidates failing to do so will be discontinued.
Gender
Male - Height - 163 cms (at least), Chest - 79 cm (5cm expansion)
Female - Height - 155 cms (at least), Weight - 45 kg (Minimum Weight)
MPSC AMVI Exam Pattern
The selection process includes two stages:
Preliminary Examination – 100 Marks
Mains – 300 Marks

MPSC AMVI Syllabus
Interview - The candidates who qualify for both the exams will be eligible to appear for an interview / personality test. Candidates must prepare in such a way that they score higher than the cutoff for the names to be featured in the merit list.
MPSC AMVI Salary
Salary - Basic salary Rs. 37,600 - Rs. 1,22,700 per month
