SBI PO offers a higher salary than RBI Assistants. However RBI postings are in metro but SBI branches are all over India. Working hours of RBI Assistant are 5 days/week and PO is 6 days/week. RBI Assistant say that RBI promotes faster to AGM post than SBI PO. However RBI Grade 'B' officers are better than RBI Assistants. They can reach till Deputy Governorship of RBI.

RBI exams mostly questions of General Awareness are asked from Current Affairs.Focus mainly on current affairs related to Banking & Finance Sector & News related to RBI.

Out of RBI assistant, IBPS PO, and SBI Associate PO and it was easiest. But since number of seats are significantly less, cutoff is really high. You need to correctly answer 180 + questions ( out of 200) if you are from general category to be certain of clearing the exam.

RBI Grade 'B' exam has for general category candidates the age limit of 30 years and 6 attempts. For PhD candidates or caste candidates the attempts and age limit is higher. RBI Assistants too the age limit is 28 years for general category and higher for others.

Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form.Please note that if the e-receipt is not generated, online transaction may not have been successful. Then candidates are advised to login again with their registration number and password and pay the Application Fees/ Intimation Charges online. No change in the data already registered by the candidate in the online application form is possible as per the terms and conditions of the advertisement /notification. There is save and edit option available through which changes can be made in the online application prior to submission before the last date for registration. The candidates should check all the entries made by them and only then submit the application.

Yes, you can appear as there is no specifications regarding the percentage but should have completed the graduation. Is it a bilingual exam? Yes, except the English language test as the other tests are conducted bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
