NABARD Grade A posts
The selection process for NABARD Grade A posts includes a Prelims exam, a Mains exam, and an interview. The NABARD Grade A prelims exam is conducted online with 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with duration of 2 hours and the NABARD Grade A Mains exam comprises two papers - I, II with duration of 90 minutes each. There will also be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

NABARD Grade B
NABARD Grade B post is a step senior to that of a Grade A post, the responsibilities are also greater. The importance of institutional credit in boosting the rural economy has been clear to the Government of India (GOI) right from its early stages of planning.The RBI at the insistence of the GOI constituted a committee to Review the Arrangements for Institutional Credit for Agriculture and Rural Development (CRAFICARD). The Committee was formed on 30 March 1979, under the Chairmanship of Shri B. Sivaraman. The recommendation of the Committee led to the formation of NABARD(National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development) on 12 July 1982 (under Act 61 of 1981).Eligibility

NABARD Exam Eligibility

The nationality criteria for the NABARD Grade A recruitment is the first stage of eligibility criteria. The candidate who wishes to apply for the NABARD Grade A exam must be either a

  1. Citizen of India or
  2. A subject of Nepal or
  3. A subject of Bhutan or
  4. A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania
